Signs of stress associated with dyslexia include fatigue, low self-esteem and concentration difficulties. In addition to gaining physical strength and flexibility, a regular yoga practise can help to manage many of the symptoms associated with dyslexia.
Essentially my style of yoga teaching is Hatha, with influences of mindfulness and self-compassion. In the west yoga is associated with postures, they are only one part of the yoga tradition. The word ‘yoga’ means to yoke or join the mind, body and spiritually well -being. In other words, yoga is not ‘just about exercise’.
I can offer a course of yoga sessions to complement wellbeing in college, university and the workplace.
